Chat & Messaging

Communicate directly with restaurants about bookings and enquiries.


Accessing Chat

  1. Log in and click "Chat" in the sidebar.
  2. Your conversation list appears.

Conversation List

Each entry shows:

  • Restaurant name and logo
  • Last message preview
  • Timestamp
  • Unread count (red badge)

Use the search bar to filter conversations.


Sending Messages

  1. Click a conversation to open it.
  2. Type your message.
  3. Press Enter or click send.

What You Can Discuss

  • Booking details and changes
  • Special requests
  • Menu enquiries
  • Private dining follow-ups

How Conversations Are Created

Conversations are automatically created when you make a booking or submit an enquiry.


Notifications

  • Unread messages show a red badge next to "Chat".
  • Messages update in real time.

Tips

  • Be clear and specific -- include your booking date and name.
  • Check chat before your visit.
  • Use chat for non-urgent requests; call for urgent matters.
