How to Create a Booking
Create manual bookings from the bookings page, from the floor plan, or as walk-ins.
Prerequisites
- Logged in as restaurant admin
- Restaurant profile & operating hours configured
Method 1: From Bookings
- Open Pre‑orders/Bookings and click + New Booking.
- Enter Organizer first/last name, Email, Phone, and Prefix.
- Select Date & Time from available slots.
- Add Party Size, optional Area, Menu, Minimum Spend.
- Optional: Deposit, Booking Fee, Table (or auto-assign), Notes.
- Leave status as Booked and click Create Booking.
Method 2: From Floor Plan
- Open Floor Plan, select date, click an available table.
- Click Create Booking; table is pre‑selected.
- Fill details as above and Create Booking.
Method 3: Walk‑In
- Open Floor Plan and click Walk‑In.
- Enter guest name, party size (phone optional), pick a table, mark Arrived.
- Click Create Walk‑In.
After Creation
- Confirmation email, auto table assignment (if blank), floor plan updates, guest profile created.
Edit / Cancel
Open the booking → Edit → Save (guest notified). To cancel: Cancel Booking → confirm → process refund if applicable.
